About Mayuri Dhand
Mayuri lives in Talegaon, India with her family who serve as caretakers for the Environmental Education Center. She is in her second year of higher education at the S.T. College in Pune studying for a BSc in Statistics. Her ambition is to combine her artistic skills and mathematical prowess to provide useful information to people in creative and memorable graphic form.
She currently commutes two hours each way to get to classes. For about $75/month she could stay in a hostel near campus. Her school’s annual tuition totals $170. The proceeds from the sale of her artwork will help her to cover these costs.

Mayuri and Shubham On-Line
Mayuri and her brother, Shubham, now have a YouTube Channel with short videos about how to make origami and other art projects.
Sacred Geometry
Mayuri’s innate artistic talents were augmented when she encountered the ancient traditions of Sacred Geometry – the skills of drawing using only a compass and a straightedge.
Her current collection of original art pieces demonstrates the union of both. The ink drawings are on A3 paper (12” x 16”).
Some appraisers have valued her pieces at $100 each; Emerging Ecology will accept offers as low as $35/piece.
