During the coming months, Emerging Ecology is conducting an Action Research Project focused on discerning the key elements for Living Responsibly in the 21st Century.

Our next program will be a Story Creation weekend in the Joyce Kilmer Memorial Forest, July 21-23.

We believe that human interactions with the world around us play a significant role in shaping our lives. A central part of our work is to explore social context - the perspectives that influence our thoughts, the assumptions that guide our behavior, and the institutions we navigate together. Through this exploration we uncover a unique worldview, a way of being in the world as active participants. Our contextual programming guides groups towards actionable insights regarding their individual goals as well as our collective future as humans.

Action Research Think Tanks will be held between September 2017 and March 2018.  The concluding Assembly will be held on March 24, 2018.

Reimagining Our Place on the Planet, an outing to the Joyce Kilmer Memorial Forest is scheduled for the weekend of July 21-23, 2017.

Sacred Geometry 101 will be offered on August 20.  Additional programs will be organized in Guilford County.

A Universe Story Walk can be scheduled upon request.  This walk through the woods has readings for each billion years of the Universe's history.  This walk was dedicated by Thomas Berry in 1999.
